This Saturday (Apr. 16), Lower House Speaker Eduardo Cunha ensured that the vote on President Dilma Rousseff's impeachment request will really be begin on Sunday (Apr. 17) at 2 pm. He said the delays in the discussion on the proceedings in the Chamber of Deputies "are on schedule" and it will be possible to stick to schedule.

"There is no risk. If the delays are cycled, when all the parties' [speeches] are delivered, when individual discussions begin, we submit a request to end discussion and close it until 11 am [on Sunday]. In other words, it's easy to do it," explained Cunha. He expects that the discussion this Saturday should be concluded until 10 pm.
