Brazil has over 190 thousand new formal jobs in October

In October, Brazil generated 190,366 jobs with a formal contract. This brings the year-to-date balance to 1,784,695 new posts across all states in four of the five economic groups that make up the official survey.
The positive balance in October is the result of 1,941,281 issions and 1,750,915 dismissals recorded in the month. The majority of formal openings are reported to have been created in services (109,939) and trade (49,647), followed by industry, with 20,954, and construction, with 11,480. The exception was agriculture, which saw 1,656 jobs lost in the month.
According to the Labor Ministry, the biggest growth in formal employment over the year was in services, which generated 976,511 jobs up to October—54.4 percent of the total.
Looking at population groups, the report showed a positive balance in October for both women (90,696 posts created) and men (99,671).
