Petrobras announced Thursday (Oct. 30) the names of the two firms that it hired to internally investigate corruption allegations by its former senior executive, Paulo Roberto Costa. Brazil's Trench, Rossi e Watanabe Advogados and US Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP will carry out the task.
According to Petrobras, the two firms are independent businesses specializing in investigation and will “establish the nature, extent, and impact of any misconduct in the context of the allegations made by Costa, as well as any related facts and circumstances that may have materially impacted the company's business.”
